Announcing the Winners of the MacJannet Global Citizenship Award 2024
In its fifteenth year, higher education institutions that are members of the Talloires Network will receive this distinction for their work and engagement in projects carried with their communities. This year’s winners and honourable mentions are the following:
- First Prize: Al-Quds Bard Civic Engagement Program, Al-Quds Bard College (Palestine)
- Second Prize: Invisible University for Ukraine (IUFU), Central European University (Austria)
- Third Prize: Msingi, Strathmore University (Kenya)
- Honourable mentions: Nufufest, University of Ghana (Ghana); Tufts University Prison Initiative of Tisch College (TUPIT), Tufts University (United States); Third Generation Project, University of St Andrews (United Kingdom).

Call for Paper: RIDAS, Iberian-American Service Learning Journal
The call for papers for the next RIDAS issue is now open. It will focus on service-learning networks: regional networks, networks including institutions promoting service-learning, and networks of networks.
This issue aims to systematise the networks’ work to identify how rich networking can be for service-learning regarding growth, support and positioning.
Papers on both research and experiences are expected. Please consult https://revistes.ub.edu/index.php/RIDAS/about/submissions for the guidelines and submission details.

Fifth Edition of the Regional Award for Successful Service-Learning Practices in Central and South-Eastern Europe
The Regional Award for Successful Service-Learning Practices in Central and South-Eastern Europe is open for submissions once again. The award, organised by the regional Service-Learning Network, is open to schools and youth from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro and North Macedonia. Romania, Slovakia and Serbia are also participating in this edition.
Service-learning initiatives will be accepted for this award until 15th July 2024. Those interested can find all the information on the website, including winning projects from previous editions.
