CLAYSS Meets with the University of Bristol in England to Strengthen Networking

This meeting resulted from previous collaborative work, where experiences were shared experiences to develop service-learning networks and community engagement in universities worldwide, based on the CLAYSS’ experience.
We have a long history in this field, both in the Ibero-American Network and as coordinators of the Uniservitate global network.

During the meeting, María Rosa Tapia, who travelled for this occasion, and Luz Avruj, participating online from Buenos Aires, learned how the University of Bristol is promoting ‘engaged learning’ [Ensuring students gain the future skills needed to thrive in a changing world], and how they are coordinating with other universities and regional leaders, such as the National Co-ordinating Centre for Public Engagement.
The agreed objective is to continue working together, with the first step being the organization of a joint webinar to inspire and strengthen the university network in the UK through dialogue with other national and international networks.
