Resources to Keep You Updated

New Resources of the National Service-Learning Network in Chile

We are pleased to share the proceedings from the last two conferences organized by REASE, the National Service-Learning Network in Chile. These documents compile experiences, methodologies, and insights that are extremely useful for educators, students, and community partners interested in exploring the results of this approach.

Both publications close a cycle of meetings that were fundamental for the region and highlight the work by the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, among others. We invite you to include them in your libraries for future reference:

  • VII Conference: “A+S somos educación para la sustentabilidad [SL: We are Education for Sustainability]”. A collection of case studies focusing on how service-learning can play a key role in promoting sustainability and care for the environment.
Access the proceedings here [in Spanish]
  • VIII Conference: “A+S: Desigualdad en tiempos de crisis [SL: Inequality in Times of Crisis]”. An in-depth reflection on the role of engagement-based pedagogy in addressing social inequalities and the challenges posed by times of crisis.
Access the proceedings here [in Spanish]

These resources are an opportunity to learn about successful initiatives that show how Service-Learning transforms teaching, strengthens community relationships, and fosters meaningful learning in higher education.
