CLAYSS at a New Meeting of European Educators Promoted by SLEsoN
On the 22nd of November, a new edition of the “Coffee Break” was held online by SLEsoN (Service-Learning in European Schools and Organizations Network). SLEsoN is a pan-European network for service-learning in schools and for young people, concerning organisations from Spain, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Switzerland, Germany, Romania, Luxembourg and Italy.
Fifty-five educators from different European countries participated in the last open meeting, in which our coordinator of Institutional Relations and Networks, Luz Avruj, briefly introduced service-learning networks and the service-learning approach in community-based educational projects. Then, educators presented their community-based experiences from Germany, Romania, Italy, and Spain and an initiative from Portugal. RedApS, the Spanish Service-Learning Network, led the meeting, which took place in an atmosphere of interchange and shared learning.
