Twenty-nine representatives from universities in the United States and Canada met on 23rd October in New Orleans to discuss the challenges of service-learning research in Catholic higher education in the region today.
The USA and Canada hub of the Uniservitate programme, the Association of Catholic Colleges and Universities (ACCU), hosted the Uniservitate meeting together with representatives of the Community Engaged Scholar-Practitioner Network (CESPN). Patrick Green, Jay Brandenberger, Anthony Vinciguerra (in charge of the CESPN research commission) and Andrew Furco (Uniservitate Academic Sounding Board) were the coordinators of this event celebrated at the Loyola University campus.
In addition to Nadine Jalandoni, director of ACCU and the meeting host, participants included CLAYSS director and founder, Nieves Tapia, and the researcher at Uniservitate, Daniel Giorgetti.
