CLAYSS at the 9th International Symposium on Service-Learning in Indianapolis (USA)

From 29th May to 1st June, the ISSL 2024 – 9th International Symposium on Service-Learning was held at the University of Indianapolis (USA), with the support of CLAYSS among other organizations.

Luz Avruj, CLAYSS Institutional Relations and Networks Coordinator, participated in the opening panel discussing the work in service-learning networks. Alongside the host Marianna Foulkrod, from the University of Indianapolis, Luz presented CLAYSS’ work with REDIBAS (the Ibero-American Service-Learning Network) to the audience, alongside other global networks.

In addition, Laura Weaver and Nicole Springer, from Campus Compact, and Diane Doberneck, from Michigan State University, led a workshop on service-learning academic journals on Tuesday 28th. During this meeting, Luz Avruj shared the experience of RIDAS (https://revistes.ub.edu/index.php/RIDAS/index) with the workshop participants, editors and professionals from other related academic journals.

All papers presented will be disseminated through the CLAYSS repository, in support of ISSL 2024.

The Symposium was hosted by the University of Indianapolis, co-hosted by Campus Compact (USA) and Stellenbosch University (South Africa).
