RAAYSS Strengthens Nationwide Ties in Solidarity Service-Learning

Service-Learning Continues Expanding Networks in Argentina.

RAAYSS, the Argentine Service-Learning Network, held a virtual meeting on Tuesday, 7th April, bringing together over 40 participants from educational institutions, school networks, and civil society organizations across the country, including provinces such as Salta, Misiones, Entre Ríos, and Chubut. The meeting was key in formally presenting the Network and, most importantly, in facilitating exchange and mutual learning among teachers and leaders in solidarity service-learning (SLL) projects in their regions, thereby strengthening nationwide collaborative efforts.

Below we share the Network’s message with the participants and those interested in the SSL pedagogy as a means to transform reality:

We at RAAYSS would like to thank you for joining us at yesterday’s meeting and sharing your stories, experiences, and lessons learned. Together, we build stronger projects and improve education and our communities!

Additionally, at this link [in Spanish] you can find a description of the National Solidarity Education Programme in Argentina and the application form, and here, you will find information about the International Conference hosted by CLAYSS.

We hope to see you again soon and look forward to learning more about your initiatives and projects!

 In solidarity,

RAAYSS

The event brought together representatives from various networks and organizations, including national networks from Argentina, Spain, Chile, Ecuador, Colombia, Mexico —represented by the Marist Schools Network—, the United States, and Uruguay.
