In this new edition, we encourage all Catholic Higher Education Institutions (CHEIs), whether university or non-university, to participate in their initiatives, projects, practices, courses or institutional solidarity service programmes, including the community, with students as active leaders, and deliberately integrated with the curriculum contents and research programmes.
The Uniservitate Award is organized every two years and is endowed with a total of 84,000 euros, distributed in prizes and special mentions in each of the seven regions comprising the Uniservitate programme.
The winning experiences are selected through a rigorous process with several stages and different juries. In the first edition in 2022, over 200 experiences were submitted from educational institutions worldwide, with 28 receiving awards. The winners were honoured during the III Global Symposium held in October 2022 in Rome, where they also were part of the Uniservitate Award. In 2024, the second edition will take place, with the added prize of travel and participation for winners in the V Global Symposium scheduled for October in Rome, Italy.
