The Talloires Network of Engage Universities (https://talloiresnetwork.tufts.edu/), celebrating its 20th anniversary, has announced the call for nominations for the 2026 MacJannet Prize, an award that highlights the best community engagement initiatives at the network signatory member universities worldwide.

CELAM 2026 Call for Research on Priority Issues in Latin America and the Caribbean. CELAM, the Latin American and Caribbean Episcopal Council, through the OSAP, the Socio-Anthropological and Pastoral Observatory of the Knowledge Management Centre, announced the open call for the proposals in 2026, aimed at research centres in Catholic universities and observatories related to the Church in Latin America and the Caribbean.

It aims to promote rigorous studies that contribute scientific evidence to the pastoral discernment and Church prophetic voice in the region.

The selected institutions shall conduct their research between 1st April and 30th November 2026, receiving financial support of 8,000 US dollars, granted through a specific agreement.  The call for proposals is open from 1st December 2025 to 31st January 2026.
