UNESCO call for proposals to identify and promote best practices in social and emotional learning in schools across Latin America and the Caribbean.
The UNESCO Regional Office in Santiago, Chile, through the LLECE (the Latin American Laboratory for Evaluation of the Quality of Education), has launched a regional call for proposals to identify and highlight primary-education initiatives that promote social and emotional learning. Educational communities in Latin America and the Caribbean with stablished initiatives focused on strengthening skills such as empathy, self-regulation, collaboration, social interaction and responsible decision-making are invited to submit proposals.
Submission deadline: 30th September 2026.

Open call for Book on Community Engagement in Postgraduate Education. The Campus Compact Special Interest Group (SIG) is seeking chapter contributors for its upcoming volume on postgraduate training through community-based service-learning projects. Submissions are welcomed on pedagogical innovations, research and university-community partnerships, as well as brief reflective essays.
Submission Deadline: 31st October, 2026.

Open call: Transformative Educational Projects 2026-2027 (Spain and Latin America). Organized by the International Education Network (RIE), this initiative invites submissions for educational projects driving meaningful change. Fifteen projects will be selected; the top five will receive USD 1,000 in funding, global recognition and promotion, and membership of the International Education Network for All (Riedu). This call is open to educational institutions, universities, foundations, NGOs, associations and other organizations with transformative educational projects.
Call for submissions: 1st September – 15th November 2026.
