Introducing the Argentine Service-Learning Network to Interested Universities

To close the year, CLAYSS welcomed representatives from universities across Argentina to its offices for a meeting with Luz Avruj, our Institutional Relations and Networks Coordinator. Attendees included representatives from FASTA University (Universidad Fraternidad de Agrupaciones Santo Tomás de Aquino) from Mar del Plata city, Universidad Favaloro, Universidad del Hospital Italiano and Universidad Católica de Cuyo.

This initial meeting provided an opportunity to discuss the solidarity service-learning (SSL) projects these institutions have been implementing with their students and explore the benefits of joining the RAAYSS (Spanish acronym for the Argentine SL Network).

Sergio Rial, Secretary of Education in Argentina, Juan Cruz Hermida from Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina, Daniela Botany from the Barceló Foundation, and Karen Kuschner from Universidad Abierta Interamericana joined Luz in presenting the RAAYSS.
