CLAYSS Continues Weaving Service-Learning Networks Worldwide

  • CLAYSS and NYLC, which make up the Executive Secretariat of the Ibero-American Service-Learning Network (REDIBAS), invited and held the last meeting of the Network last Thursday, 4th April. This hybrid meeting brought together representatives of the national service-learning networks in Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, Colombia, Ecuador, Spain, Portugal, Chile and Mexico, alongside colleagues from the United States who attended the National Service-Learning Conference at NYLC (https://nylc.org/slc/) in St. Paul, Minnesota. It was a new opportunity to share knowledge and experiences in the Ibero-American SL field and work on the new proposals and initiatives of the Network in anticipation of its twentieth anniversary. For that reason, some of the topics discussed were the role of national service-learning networks in the region and the second edition of this year’s Ibero-American Service-Learning Journal (RIDAS), focusing on issues related to the networks this year.
