Alejandro Gimelli
Coordination of Solidarity Schools Support Programme
He has a degree in Labour Relations (UBA) and is a Lecturer in Sociology (UAI) and a Specialist in Education focusing on educational management (Universidad de San Andrés). He also holds a Higher Diploma in Education and New Technologies (FLACSO).
Since 2005, he has participated in different activities to promote service-learning. Between 2005 and 2006, he worked as a consultant for the Solidarity Education National Programme of the Ministry of Education of Argentina. Since 2011 he has worked in CLAYSS technical team, providing technical and pedagogical assistance and evaluation, and since 2014 he has been the Coordinator of the CLAYSS school support programme.
He teaches at the secondary and university levels. Since 2007, he has been the Principal of a secondary school in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
