CLAYSS Participates in Transform4Europe Alliance Service-Learning Workshop

The workshop took place on 29th and 30th October at the Portuguese Catholic University in Porto.

Combining online and in-person participation, the event was organized by Transform4Europe Alliance (https://transform4europe.eu/) and focused on exploring the design and implementation of service-learning on civic and social justice issues, in line with the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals). The attending professors were trained on the topic and engaged actively during the two-day event. The critical discussion of shared service-learning experiences enriched the work of all participants.

The organizers deemed the workshop a great success, with approximately 25 participants from six partner universities of the Alliance. Candelaria Ferrara, the CLAYSS-Uniservitate regional hub coordinator, presented at the workshop “The What, the Why, the How and the Who of Service-Learning”.
