Upcoming Events of Interest to the Global Education Community

29th International Solidarity Service-Learning Conference This is a new edition yearly held in Buenos Aires is organized by CLAYSS. Intended for students, educators, researchers, and specialists worldwide, it will be held on 27th and 28th August 2026. It is free, requires in-person attendance and prior registration. More details on registration coming soon.

The call for presentations opened on 2nd March.

First Argentine Congress on the Global Compact on Education 2026. Hosted by the Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina (UCA).

It will be held on 20th October, 2026, at the Pope Francis Campus, Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The meeting, entitled “Drawing new maps of hope”, invites students, educators, administrators from all levels of education, researchers, and community leaders to discuss the fruitful ongoing relationship between the global village and educational constellations: two complementary ways of thinking about education as an art of caring, creating, and imagining hope.

The call for papers deadline is on 31th March 2026.
