Conclusion of international training course and workshop.
The “Del Aula a la Comunidad [From Classroom to Community]” workshop successfully concluded, aiming to transform academic knowledge into tangible social impact. During the programme, there was a consolidation of the space for professional skills development, where classes and fieldwork with students were reaffirmed as the key driving force for social change.
According to the Service-Learning Network in Mexico, the programme stood out for its scope and methodological accuracy, achieving key results:
High-level training, consisting of six sessions devoted to in-depth methodological study; networking with 22 educational leaders from various Tec de Monterrey campuses; and transnational cooperation, strengthening a strategic alliance between institutions in Chile, Argentina, and Mexico.
This knowledge exchange was possible thanks to the guidance of facilitators from CLAYSS, UC Chile, UDEM, and specialists from the Network.
Additionally, the Training Committee of the Service-Learning Network in Mexico finished the course geared to provide a professional approach to solidarity from the classroom, “Innovación Educativa que transforma: AySS [Educational Innovation that Transforms: Service-Learning].” After weeks of joint work from 15th October to 26th November 2025, 26 new certified agents of change from Mexico, Peru, Ecuador, Spain, and Chile joined the programme.
We celebrate the work of the Service-Learning Network in Mexico, which once again highlights the power of learning to serve society and boost its impact in Ibero-America.
