CLAYSS Participates in the Points of Light Conference in Washington DC

Enrique Ochoa, Executive Director of CLAYSS, attended the event, which brings together leaders and volunteers working on social impact projects.

As part of the conference organized by Points of Light, in collaboration with our colleagues at the National Youth Leadership Council (NYLC), our Executive Director Enrique Ochoa and Pam Siebert —NYLC’s Vice President of Community Impact and Evaluation— led a workshop introducing solidarity service-learning to more than 60 participants, including administrators, educators and leaders of community-based organizations.

Held in Washington DC, USA, from 22nd to 25th June, this annual conference brings together leading speakers and attendees interested in voluntary service and its real impact on communities.

Once again, we join initiatives working towards a better world by supporting and promoting solidarity-based projects, and engaging with the vast global community of young people.
