CLAYSS at the 18th State Meeting on Service-Learning in Spain

Featuring the ApS 2025 Awards Ceremony.

On 12th December, IFEDI, the Trade Fair Institution of the Provincial Council of Ciudad Real, successfully hosted the eighteenth edition of the State Meeting on Service-Learning in its fair pavilion. The event was the result of an agreement between the Ministry of Education, the local City Council and the Spanish Service-Learning Network [website in Spanish]. It included a presentation by our director and international leader, María Nieves Tapia, who delivered the opening speech, “Ciudadanía solidaria en un mundo de trolls y de IA [Solidarity citizenship in a troll and AI world].”

The meeting reached its full capacity and was live-streamed to a global audience on the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training, and Sports YouTube channel.

This edition in Ciudad Real reaffirmed the growth and professionalization of the solidarity service-learning approach throughout Spain.
