The VII Researchers’ Symposium Generated Enthusiasm and Solidarity Service-Learning Engagement

Prior to the Seminar, on Wednesday, 20th August, VII Service-Learning Researchers’ Symposium ( https://www.clayss.org/en/jias/) was held at the Faculty of Dentistry of the Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA), causing enthusiasm and service-learning engagement.

The symposium, held every two years, brought together 125 participants—educators, researchers, specialists in education and solidarity service-learning—from different regions of Argentina and the world.

Before the event, a jury of service-learning specialists carried out an exhaustive review and evaluation of the 40 papers submitted.

You can find the E-poster gallery of the selected papers, as well as the speakers’ presentations and videos, here: https://www.clayss.org/en/jias/

Throughout the day, participants shared their experiences and presentations in the lecture hall and other classrooms, which, in the afternoon, served as spaces for discussion and joint reflection, leading to the conclusions presented by our executive director, Enrique Ochoa.

The proceedings of this edition of JIAS will be available for free on our website: https://www.clayss.org/en/resources/

CLAYSS co-hosted this event with the Faculty of Dentistry of the University of Buenos Aires, which once again hosted the conference, and the support of the Ibero-American Service-Learning Network (REDIBAS).
