Service-Learning networking around the world! 

CLAYSS continues working with partners and colleagues from all regions worldwide to promote the creation or strengthening of Service-Learning networks.

  • The 6th EASLHE (European Association of Service-Learning in Higher Education) addressed the “Futures of Service-Learning: Digital Empowerment, Transformational Literacy and Civic Engagement”. Researchers and educators, mostly from European educational institutions, participated in this event held on 27th and 28th September at LUMSA University in Rome. Andres Peregalli, the institutional network manager and vice-coordinator of the Uniservitate programme, participated as CLAYSS representative. Both led two activities on the establishment and development of national and regional service-learning networks and gave a panel presentation on the paper “Service-Learning Networks for Transformation: conceptions, skills and conditions,” a joint article written with Candelaria Ferrara, coordinator of the Uniservitate regional hubs.   • Engagement Australia, a partnership working with higher education students and their communities jointly committed to service-learning projects, announces the finalists for the  .   • This time, the Spanish Service-Learning Network, RedAps, broke the record for the number of projects submitted to its annual edition of the Service-Learning Awards: 475 in total. This represents an increase of 33% compared to last year: projects launched and supported by more than 900 educational centres and social entities in the country. Congratulations!
