{"id":6527,"date":"2025-03-28T10:50:21","date_gmt":"2025-03-28T13:50:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.clayss.org\/?p=6527"},"modified":"2025-03-28T10:53:53","modified_gmt":"2025-03-28T13:53:53","slug":"new-meeting-of-the-ibero-american-service-learning-network","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.clayss.org\/en\/new-meeting-of-the-ibero-american-service-learning-network\/","title":{"rendered":"New Meeting of the Ibero-American Service-Learning Network"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Our executive director, Enrique Ochoa, will attend the REDIBAS, the Ibero-American Service-Learning Network, meeting held at the end of March in the United States. <br \/>CLAYSS and NYLC are part of the network&#8217;s executive secretariat and this meeting will take place during the <a href=\"https:\/\/nylc.org\/slc-agenda\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">National Service-Learning Conference<\/a> in Saint Paul, Minnesota, USA.<br \/>Two REDIBAS meetings are held each year, one in March and the other in August, during our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.seminario.clayss.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">International Solidarity Service-Learning Conference in Buenos Aires<\/a>. <br \/>Members from various Ibero-America countries, who have been working in service-learning and continuously promoting this approach for many years, will participate. <br \/>While the network celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2025, several regional and national SSL networks have recently been established, with representation at this meeting, either in person or virtually.<br \/>Enrique Ochoa will participate in the National Conference as a speaker on \u2018Evaluation, Impact and Professional Development in Service-Learning,\u2019 discussing the importance of teaching science and citizenship together.
