Uniservitate Regional Meeting in Madrid, Spain

Our solidarity service-learning programme for Catholic Higher Education, Uniservitate, continues its joint work with partner universities, colleagues, and other members of this global network built over its nearly six years.

Between 16th and 18th June, the South-Western Europe Hub meeting was held, hosted by the University of Deusto, the hub for that region. Andrés Peregalli, Uniservitate vice-coordinator, and Ezequiel Gómez Caride, from the Research Department, travelled from Buenos Aires to work and share with representatives from seven universities in the United Kingdom, Spain, and Portugal, which are part of the global network. During the regional meeting, solidarity service-learning (SSL) was addressed comprehensively, linking different aspects such as projects, teaching, institutionalization, research and spirituality.
