Solidarity Youth Working and Learning Together at CLAYSS

This year, CLAYSS welcomed students final-year secondary school students to carry out their Educational Internships for Future Careers (formerly known as ACAP, Activities for Approaching the World of Work and Higher Education), as required by the regulations of the Ministry of Education of the City of Buenos Aires.

Sixteen students from two schools were involved: Instituto San José de la Palabra de Dios, in the Palermo neighbourhood, and Instituto San José de Devoto, both of them in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.

The students, guided by CLAYSS professionals, are completing their educational internships in the organization’s communication activities and in the translation and subtitling of interviews with foreign participants of the 28th International Solidarity Service-Learning Conference held in August. In addition, they will produce a final audiovisual project and are also helping to design our Centre’s image database.

Throughout its 23 years, CLAYSS has not only promoted student leadership at all education levels but has provided training opportunities for several generations of professionals who now promote citizenship and social commitment in different spheres of society.

We celebrate and appreciate this opportunity to share with young people who have chosen to join and learn with us!
