New Edition of the Uniservitate Award

An international award for universities, educators and young people engaged with their communities

The Uniservitate global network has launched the third edition of its award, presenting exemplary solidarity service-learning projects developed by Catholic Higher Education Institutions (CHEIs) worldwide.

The official webinar of the award took place on 29th January, with over a hundred participants worldwide, including educators, administrators, students, colleagues, and partners from universities and various organizations.

The award endows winners with a total of 84,000 euros distributed in prizes and special mentions across the seven regions comprising the Uniservitate network. Each winner receives five thousand euros (€5,000), and one thousand euros (€1,000) awarded for each special mention. First-prize winners receive a full grant for a coordinating professor and a student to attend the VII Uniservitate Global Symposium in Rome in October 2026.

María Rosa Tapia, Coordinator of Uniservitate, presented this edition, alongside Daniel Giorgetti from the Uniservitate team, and Candelaria Ferrara, coordinator of regional hubs. In addition, during the webinar, colleagues from Givepulse introduced their platform to submit projects for this international call. We count on this tool for the first time, and the support of Givepulse in this new edition of the Uniservitate Award.
