Each year, the prize created by the Talloires Network and the MacJannet Foundation recognizes exceptional student community engagement initiatives at the Network signatory member universities.
The award, which contributes financially to winning projects, highlights the following experiences and institutions:
First Prize: Medical Force During Conflict: Sudan, Afhad University for Women (Sudan)
Second Prize: Centre for Legal Aid Programme, National University of Study and Research in Law (India)
Third Prize: Program Penggerak Pendaulat Borneo 9.0, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (Malaysia)
In addition, three experiences were recognized with honourable mentions, one of them from the Catholic University of Córdoba, Argentina, a member of Uniservitate, our Programme and Global Network. Honourable mentions: Diabetes Mobile Unit, Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland-Medical University of Bahrain (Bahrain); El Refugio Libertad, Universidad Católica De Córdoba (Argentina); and Medical Students’ Aid Project, University of New South Wales (Australia).
