SERVICE-LEARNING DIPLOMA
Designed for: Educator of all levels, members of social organizations, officials and experts who want to systematize and assess their knowledge.
Objective: To offer specialized training in the service-learning pedagogy from an Ibero-American view.
To contribute to generating an Ibero-American community of practice with strong theoretical and methodological knowledge that enables the dissemination of the service-learning pedagogical proposal in several educational fields within the region.
To strengthen dialogue and joint work between the members of the Ibero-American Service-Learning Network.

The bibliographic materials that are part of the archive of this course were produced or selected by CLAYSS based on the experience supporting institutions that develop solidarity educational projects.

245 hours distributed as follows:
Online welcome: 2 hrs.
Module 1: 6 lessons, 60 hrs.
Module 2: 6 lessons, 60 hrs.
Module 3: 6 lessons, 60 hrs.
Module 4: Final projet, 60 hrs.
Online closure: 3 hrs.
Work methodology:
Entirely online, on the virtual campus of OEI (Organization of Ibero-American States) with the support of videoconferencing sessions with tutors and specialists.
The modules are divided into classes of fortnightly frequency that include a core material as a reading and discussion guide, compulsory and optional bibliography, as well as activities for each class. CLAYSS tutors will keep remote monitoring of participants’ activities regarding conceptual contents, activities and production of the final project on consultancy or research.
Each participant should spend an estimate of 5 hours per week reading and elaborating the topics proposed in the course.

Participants are expected to:
Participate in online sessions.
Do all the required activities.
Once successfully passed all modules, each participant must develop in due time and manner a Final Research Project (FRP) or a Final Consultancy Project (FCP) that demonstrates conceptual appropriation.
