María Rosa Tapia, coordinator of the Uniservitate programme, was invited to deliver a lecture for the 60th Anniversary of the Catholic University of La Plata, Argentina. This day of academic celebration began with the words of María Rosa, who spoke on a topic which the audience received with interest: Perspectivas de la educación superior en el Siglo XXI: aprendizaje y servicio solidario, aprender haciendo [Perspectives of higher education in the 21st century: service-learning, learning by doing]. Officials, managers, educators and the general public attended the meeting celebrated in the Hall Dorado of the Municipality of La Plata. We celebrate this anniversary and the opportunity to be able, once again, to disseminate service-learning in the academic sphere.

On 12th March, Luz Avruj (Institutional Relations and Network Coordinator) participated in the opening webinar of the Good Deeds Day in Argentina campaign. The meeting was organised by the Argentine Network for International Cooperation (RACI) (https://raci.org.ar/), of which CLAYSS is a member. It was the first of a series of activities that will take place all year long. After the meeting, Luz stressed how important it was to have been part of it, highlighting that it was “an opportunity to interchange perspectives with other organizations, focusing on the fact that all people can be agents of change and collaborate to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals”, referring to the SDGs 2030, which are often the driving force behind service-learning projects.
