The purpose of the Symposium is to promote global citizenship in a time of uncertainty and rapid worldwide change. The host informs that the Symposium will continue to focus on the development of reciprocal and transactional relationships as well as innovative and fresh service-learning initiatives in higher education globally.

It addresses academics, students, community partners, and other professionals.
