IARSLCE Announces the Global Researchers Scholar Grant: Supporting Emerging Research in Service-Learning

As it approaches the 20th anniversary of its Graduate Student Network (GradSN) in 2027, the International Association for Research on Service-Learning and Community Engagement (IARSLCE) announces the Global Research Scholars Grant. This initiative seeks to strengthen the association’s longstanding commitment to developing young researchers whose work contributes to the Global Research Agenda (GRA). The creation of this fund is the result of collective leadership that brought together current and former GradSN presidents, alumni, and IARSLCE board members.

The request for proposals is open to graduate students, and grants range from 300 to 1,000 USD to fund high-quality transdisciplinary research. Proposals focusing on inclusion, equity, critical approaches, and co-design practices with community partners will receive special consideration. In addition to financial support—intended to meet practical needs such as stipends for partner organizations, transcription services, or participant logistics—selected applicants will join an international network of scholars.

Application deadline: 20th November 2026.
