Uruguay: Registration Now Open for the 20th Online Course “Transformando realidades”

This training programme, certified by the Education Training Council and the Ministry of Education and Culture in Uruguay, offers practical tools to help educators design and carry out SSL projects.

Registration is now open for the 20th edition of the online course “Transformando realidades: el aprendizaje-servicio como pedagogía activa [Transforming Realities: Service-Learning as an Active Pedagogy]”, starting on 1st September 2026. This training programme encourages Uruguayan educators to explore the solidarity service-learning (SSL) approach in depth, providing concrete methodological tools to design and launch educational projects that combine curriculum-based learning with social engagement and a real local-community impact.

Course data:

  • Target Audience: Educators, school administrators, inspectors, specialists, and workshop leaders in formal and informal education across Uruguay, including officials from INR (the National Rehabilitation Institute) and INISA (the National Institute for Adolescent Social Inclusion in Uruguay).
  • Duration: 9 weeks.
  • Certification: Certified by the Education Training Council (CFE) —awarding 3 teacher-training credits— and is supported by the Ministry of Education and Culture in Uruguay (MEC) and CLAYSS.
