Busy Schedule of Events in Rome for CLAYSS and Uniservitate

During the last week of October, Nieves Tapia, Director and Founder of CLAYSS, María Rosa Tapia, Coordinator of the Uniservitate global network, and Andrés Peregalli, Vice-Coordinator of Uniservitate in Rome, Italy, actively participated in what the Catholic church called “The Jubilee of Hope”  during those days dedicated to the world of Education.

CLAYSS team carried out a busy schedule, including the participation of the Global Compact on Education Committee, conferences and the presentation of the new free publication in Portuguese together with the FTD publishing house, alongside other international and regional educational activities.

They also witnessed in Rome when Pope Leo XIV signed and released the document “Drawing New Maps of Hope”, recommending solidarity service-learning and relaunching the Global Compact on Education, a path initiated by Pope Francis.

In addition, María Rosa Tapia, Coordinator of Uniservitate, was invited to the international meeting of women leaders from higher education institutions and the conference organized by IFCU, and María Nieves Tapia delivered a lecture at the 4th Murialdo Pedagogical World Conference.
