On Thursday, 17th July, the training programme for Institutional Representatives (IRs) came to an end. CLAYSS had designed this programme for professionals with and without experience to help guide educational institutions to develop solidarity service-learning experiences.
Throughout six meetings between May and July, more than 20 professionals from Argentina and Uruguay discussed and shared their experiences supporting educational institutions and organizations.
The richness of the teamwork and collective efforts centred on reflections and ideas about the role of IRs in today’s world and the future. The online space shared by all fostered discussion and the sharing of experiences among those already working as institutional leaders. It also provided new perspectives from those joining from other areas and roles within our organization.
This initiative builds on other technical team training activities implemented by CLAYSS over the last few years, combining face-to-face and online training.
