CLAYSS Training on SSL at De La Salle University in Bogotá, Colombia

A training session for faculty members, managers and the social projection team was held at the De La Salle University in Bogota from 11 to 14 June. Sebastián Puglisi from CLAYSS travelled especially for this training. The proposal La proyección social y el aprendizaje-servicio [Social projection and service-learning] aimed at people interested in solidarity service learning. The attendants took part in a participatory and experiential way, working with SSL experiences and analyzing them from their implementation to closure and evaluation.
Participants also had access to bibliographic materials, videos, multimedia resources, valuable experiences and means of registration, diagnosis, evaluation and communication.

Puglisi also had a working session with the vice-rector and the social projection team and a discussion with the vice-rector and the dean of the Faculty of Education called “Solidarity service learning and situated practices”.
He also met with the Colombian Vice-Minister of Education, Oscar Sánchez, to continue strengthening the link with CLAYSS: a joint work that recently involved the training of solidarity service learning promoters in the framework of the EducaPaz programme.
